When we think of Jewish New York, lots of things come to mind. Great-grandparents arriving at Ellis Island... carefree days spent at the Jewish summer camp... the best place for mouthwatering pastrami on rye.

Sound familiar? Probably. Because we're all part of the vibrant energy of Jewish New York.

UJA-Federation of New York and its network of nonprofits have been there from the beginning, helping immigrants acclimate to a new land and live the American dream, fight poverty, and bringing kids joyful Jewish experiences. We've evolved with the times and we're still here today — always an integral part of the great diversity that is New York.

Turns out, we're all connected. Your story is our story. We're proud of the role we've played in shaping our community over the past 100 years, and can't wait to see how our story continues to unfold into our next century.

Help us celebrate by sharing your story. This is Jewish New York.
